COMPANY
Ceemo Design controls the whole design process and transforms ideas and dreams into reality. During the whole process there’s a close cooperation with the engineers, so production errors will be excluded in an early stage.This close cooperation results in a short time-to-market process.

PRODUCTS
Ceemo Design’s characteristic designs are exclusive, high-quality and timeless. Because of the usage of high-quality composite materials, form freedom is endless. All products are hand-made, which makes every product a unique object!

AUTOMOTIVE
Ceemo Design designs car body parts such as mirrors, wings, bumpers, and soft-top frames. Special projects like the Ceemo Concept Car and the re-design of the Volvo PV 544 are not exceptional.

MARINE
These days sailing boats are more and more often equipped with composite parts like hulls, masts and steering wheels. The advantages of the combination of different materials are weight and stiffness. For the designers perspective there is an advantage in form freedom. Not only the mechanical advantages, but also the optical performance is an important aspect which make composite materials a good option.

FURNITURE
In furniture a lot of traditional materials are used like wood and metal. Ceemo Design is one of the first companies which designs furniture of mainly carbon and glass fibre. This retro looking chair and hocker are made of high-quality composites and will soon be realised.

OTHER
Beside cars, boats and furniture, Ceemo Design is receptive to all kinds of products. Sports and tools to lessen the physical handicaps are also products CeemoDesign is interested in.

FACILITIES
Ceemo Design and Ceemo Engineering have all the equipment to develop and produce the most exciting and innovative products.

DESIGN
CeemoDesign uses hand sketches, professional CAD applications and picture adaptation programmes. With these programmes, visual concepts are quickly realised, which result in a short time feedback to the costumer.

PROTOTYPING
Making prototypes or the actual product takes place in cooperation with Ceemo Engineering. These engineers have over 10 years of experience with prototyping and composite production.

COMPOSITES
Composites are combinations of materials. Fibres are strong, stiff and light in comparison with steel or aluminium. The combination of epoxy resin and fibres creates a material where the weaknesses of the different materials are eliminated. Varying the fibre orientation makes it possible to change the material properties. This is an important advantage in optimising lightweight designs.

STIFFNESS
Composites offer the stiffness of steel at one fifth the weight and equal the stiffness of aluminium at one half the weight. Due to this higher specific stiffness and strength, composite parts are always lighter than their conservative counterparts.

EASE
Composites can be formed into complex and accurate shapes easier than other materials, because of the woven structure. This gives designers the freedom to create any shape or configuration.
